Resolution to participate We, the undersigned, declare our intent to carry forward the goals and objectives outlined at the SCS 2000. We pledge to continue to work together to develop a strategic plan of action for Northeast Ohio that protects our natural assets, gives a competitive edge to our businesses, and provides us with livable communities without compromising the ability of future generations to do the same. Further, we pledge to take an active leadership role in promoting attitudes and policies that further the principles of sustainability to make our region a national model as a desirable place to live, work and play. We resolve to the best of our ability to start immediately to implement the goals and objectives of SCS 2000 in our daily lives, our places of business, and in our communities.
