Sustainable Sustainable Communities Symposium 2002: Green Urbanism "Green Urbanism: What you and your city can do" was the theme of the Sustainable Communities Symposium 2002. The event, which attracted nearly 400 people, was at the Cleveland State University Convocation Center and was organized by the same broad-based planning committee that sponsored the major Sustainable Communities Symposium in May 2000. The symposium began Thursday evening, September 12, with a keynote address by Scott Bernstein, president of the Center for Neighborhood Technology in Chicago and a national leader in the movement for sustainability.
