Habitat conservation plan for preserving 88-acre coastal wildlife area and providing public access:

Conservation of existing meadows, wetlands, grass lands, sand dune and forests with plan for adding wetlands, trails, boardwalks, coastal viewing decks, hawk tower and educational/informational signage.

With suggested additions to Gordon State Park:

New nature center building, bus parking, bike trail, landscaping, sculpture and graphics, park benches, improved picnic areas, expanded children's play areas and additional fishing platforms.
